Thames River Gallery – On November 29^th, Thames River Gallery warmly welcomes visitors to its soft opening of their charming winter and holiday-themed exhibition, “In the Spirit of Giving”. Perfect for unique Hanukkah and Christmas gifts, come view small and popularly priced seasonal art from the area’s premiere artists and see works in oil, acrylic, watercolor, photography, sculpture, classic paper cuttings and more. Anchoring the arts community in New London, don’t forget to return on December 13^th, for the hard opening of this exhibit, where in conjunction with the Santa Stroll downtown, the gallery will be collecting donations for Operation Smile, a global nonprofit that provides free, life-changing surgery and comprehensive care to children and families affected by cleft lips and palate. Thames River Gallery will match the donations collected, amplifying the giving.
